'Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.' ~ Philippians 4:6-7
I love this verse. But I always forget how important the word 'transcends' is. Transcend means to pass beyond the limits of something, to be be greater than something in intensity or power, and to exist above or independent of something.
It's so incredibly important to remember that God, and his peace, is beyond my understanding. It's greater than anything I can understand, it's more powerful ... and his peace exists and did exist before my worry. So I don't need to be anxious because God is here even when I feel alone, and even when I don't understand his ways. God guards my heart and my mind in ways I cannot even fathom ... because he cares.

you're silver lining the clouds
Things that make everything better:
A warm jumper straight from the dryer
Crunchy peanut butter
A kitty on your lap
Getting a trenchgun in COD
French Toast made by Mommy
When Justin makes me laugh
Hugs from Katherine
A text that says 'I miss you!' received 2 seconds after you left the person. :)

please come back
I'm trying, ok?
The amount of stress this seems to be causing me really can't be that good for me. I just want it to stop, and have everything work out the way it's supposed to.
I feel like screaming.

I Like You, Let's Be Friends
Have you ever thought about how I am me
And you are you
You have your life
I have mine
Our paths cross
The same things
By the way your world runs?
The fact that what I have
Is what I have
Occupying the same space
Was nothing like what you see
My world satisfies
And my world defeats
How does your world work?
Is it strange that I wish I had experienced
The things you had
And I just want you to know
That I try hard
Not to be like that
It gets like that when you find yourself quite fond of someone.

Green Eyes.
I love this song. It's so amazing.
| Honey you are a rock Upon which I stand And I came here to talk I hope you understand The green eyes, yeah the spotlight, shines upon you And how could, anybody, deny you I came here with a load And it feels so much lighter now I met you And honey you should know That I could never go on without you Green eyes Honey you are the sea Upon which I float And I came here to talk I think you should know The green eyes, you're the one that I wanted to find And anyone who tried to deny you, must be out of their mind Because I came here with a load And it feels so much lighter since I met you Honey you should know That I could never go on without you Green eyes, green eyes Oh oh oh oh Honey you are a rock Upon which I stand |

escape
I'm feeling claustrophobic... like I'm just waiting for the world to come crashing down upon me. I can't wait to get out! I need to get out for a while. 6 weeks to go from Thursday. It just can't come soon enough.
Oh and nothing else compares ♫
It's been a good morning. Class was canceled so it feels like a Thursday. I stayed in bed til 10:30, then had breakfast of peanut butter bread and chocolate milk.
Yeah it was good. Been listening to the likes of Coldplay, John Mayer and Jon Schmidt while I tidied my room. Haven't finished yet. Hektor was in the way of me making my bed.
But I can forgive him.
Ta ta. I'm off to take a walk down to Officeworks to pick up some new notebooks, do some homework, get laundry done, and read Terry Prachett.

Happy first day of the last month of the first half of the year!
This is the guy that does the amazing splatter paintings in Newtown. I don't have any money to buy his pretty art so I took a picture instead.
